When I began my career at Schaffer & Associates in 2019, I had every intention of simply serving as their receptionist until I finished college and became a teacher. Quickly I found my niche within the practice, and my role grew into that of the office administrator. To date, I oversee much of the behind-the-scenes work within the firm. I am happy to work in a place where I feel like I’m making a difference in the community.
My favorite part of working in a law firm is having the opportunity to help people during what is likely a dark time in their life. I enjoy communicating with clients and making sure their needs are met. I am passionate about equality for all people, including the disabled and injured. I am proud to work for a firm where I know the attorneys feel the same way. It is inspiring to work with professionals who are so clearly dedicated to ensuring our clients receive all they are entitled to.
I value the variety in my job. My role as office administrator requires me to be creative, personable, tech-savvy, and organized. These traits translate to my personal life as well. I love anything involving art and crafts, spending much of my free time scrapbooking, writing, and playing video games. Spending time with my family is very important to me as well. I have been married to my high school sweetheart since 2014 and we have two children.
