I came to Schaffer & Associates in 2022 as the receptionist/office assistant. I quickly became a good fit for the practice and a helping hand to the other staff. I also help take care of the clients just by having a cheerful disposition every time I speak with them, and ensuring their message will get to their attorney. I am happy to work in a place where I feel like what I do and how I treat people make a difference.
My favorite part of working in a law firm is being able to interact with new and different people almost every day. I enjoy personally helping clients or getting them to the right person who can help. I am proud to work for a firm where I am confident that the attorneys will be able to assist anyone who calls. It is reassuring to work with professionals who are dedicated to their clients and getting them what they deserve.
I enjoy the variety in my job, but I also enjoy knowing that there is consistency in my role. As the receptionist I need to be reliable, organized, and personable, all of which help in my everyday life outside of the firm. I am an avid baker and always receive requests to bring desserts to gatherings. Most of my free time is spent with my family. We are all involved in martial arts. My husband and I practice Krav Maga and my son participates in American karate. We also love playing card and board games and watching television and movies as a family.
