AFSP to Hold Toledo Out of the Darkness Walk

Schaffer & Associates staff, friends, and family are preparing to participate in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s local event this October. The AFSP organizes a number of events across the country each year in order to help fight suicide. This year, our community Out of the Darkness Walk will take place at Promenade Park in Toledo. Our team will gather on October 4th at 9:30 a.m. for the 1 mile walk. In addition to the walk itself, the event will also include raffles, yoga sessions, food trucks, memory tents, community mental health resources, and more.

There is no registration fee to attend an AFSP Community Walk, but our firm team has set a fundraising goal of $1,500. All donations go towards funding research, education, advocacy, and support for those affected by suicide. Participants, volunteers, and team members are welcome. Learn more here.
