Attorney Rachael Fortlage was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2020 and to the Ohio Bar in 2021. Rachael attended George Washington University in Washington D.C., where she received her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. Rachael received her law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law, where she graduated cum laude.
Rachael worked as a law clerk at Schaffer and Associates, LPA during law school. She then joined the firm as an attorney in 2021.
Rachael has the following to say about her work:
“Before joining Schaffer and Associates as a law clerk, I had only a general understanding of the workers’ compensation and social security systems. I quickly came to appreciate the crucial role that both play in our society, and realized how rewarding, interesting and challenging this work was. While I have just begun my career as an attorney, there are already many aspects of this job that I enjoy. I appreciate the opportunity to work with clients, and to do my best to make what is usually a very challenging time of life easier for them. I am grateful to work in a job where I am constantly able to learn, whether I am researching a legal issue or learning about and from my clients.
